Getting Started

How fast can I be seen?

We are an appointment-only practice, so we don’t offer walk-in or unscheduled visits. Availability changes from week to week. The request page shows current openings, and we confirm every request with you before your visit.

For current availability, call or text (818) 814-9116.

What happens after I request an appointment?

Once we confirm your service, date and time, you’ll receive an email with secure links to complete your intake forms, questionnaires, consent forms and payment. Completing them before your visit lets us spend the appointment on your health rather than on paperwork. For mobile lab visits, payment is due at the time of booking. Everything stays in our secure patient system.

Do I still need a primary care doctor?

Yes. We can help when you can’t get in to see your own doctor or would rather not wait at an urgent care. We ask every patient to follow up with a primary care provider afterward, and if you don’t have one, we can refer you.

¿Hablan español?

Sí. Atendemos a pacientes en español, tanto por video como en visitas a domicilio. Llámenos o envíenos un mensaje de texto al (818) 814-9116.

Virtual & In-Home Care

What can’t you treat over video?

Anything that requires a hands-on examination or a procedure, such as laceration repair, physicals or blood draws, can’t be done by video. Many of these can be done during a house call instead.

We also can’t treat emergencies by video, including chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe pain, abdominal pain with vomiting or bleeding, dizziness or fainting, head injuries or seizures. For these, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

Where do you make house calls?

We make house calls throughout the San Fernando Valley, from Woodland Hills, Canoga Park, West Hills, Tarzana, Winnetka, Reseda, Chatsworth and Northridge in the west to Encino, Van Nuys, Sherman Oaks, Studio City, North Hollywood and Sylmar in the central and east Valley. We also serve nearby communities, including Calabasas, Hidden Hills, Agoura Hills, Westlake Village, Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, Pacific Palisades, Santa Monica and Malibu.

See the full list on the House Calls page. Outside this area, a travel fee may apply and will be quoted before you book. Addresses near the edge of the area may need a wider arrival window.

Can I be treated if I’m outside California?

Yes, by video, if you are in California, Nevada, Florida or Illinois at the time of your visit. Your provider is licensed in all four states. Insurance billing is available in California only; in Nevada, Florida and Illinois, every service is self-pay.

Pricing & Insurance

Do you take my insurance?

We bill commercial PPO insurance for telemedicine sick visits in California only. Accepted plans are Anthem Blue Cross of California, Blue Shield of California, Aetna, Cigna and UnitedHealthcare. HMO plans are not accepted.

All other services are self-pay, including every visit in Nevada, Florida and Illinois and all in-person services, such as blood draws and house calls. We’ll always tell you the cost before your visit.

What does men’s health care cost?

A $150 self-pay consultation covers testosterone therapy, erectile dysfunction or hair loss. For erectile dysfunction and hair loss, that is the only fee we charge; your pharmacy bills you for the medication.

Testosterone therapy continues at $249 per month with a three-month minimum. The monthly plan includes medication shipped to your home, supplies, follow-up appointments, dose adjustments and laboratory orders. Laboratory testing is billed separately, either by the laboratory to your insurance or by us at the applicable cash price.

Labs & Prescriptions

Can you prescribe medication?

Yes. When clinically appropriate, your provider sends prescriptions electronically to your pharmacy during the visit. For testosterone and weight-loss patients, medication and supplies are shipped to your door each month. We do not prescribe controlled substances.

Policies & Privacy

What is your cancellation policy?

Please give at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations within 24 hours and missed appointments are charged $100. This applies to both video and in-home visits.

What if it’s an emergency?

Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. One Health Mobile does not provide emergency care. If your provider determines during a visit that your condition is an emergency, we’ll direct you to the nearest emergency department.
